about me

hey! i am an actor, singer, and musician based in New York City.

I just finished playing Perchik in La Mirada’s production of Fiddler on the Roof, sharing the stage with Jason Alexander’s iconic Tevye, and directed by Lonny Price. I recently finished traveling the country as Mendel in the Broadway National Tour of Fiddler on the Roof directed by Bartlett Sher.

On TV, you can find me on NBC’s New Amsterdam and Hulu’s The Food That Built America. I led my first short film Escape from Myrtle Broadway which is currently running the film festival circuit. On stage, I made my Off-Broadway debut at the AMT Theatre in Hazing U. I have also continued to work on NYU MFA shorts and new play/musical readings.

I grew up in Westport, CT, where I developed a love for theatre, acting, and music. I am a proud graduate of Northwestern University where I was lucky enough to receive the Sarah Siddons Society Scholarship awarded to an outstanding actor.

When I am not performing, you can find me making music! (the beatttttts) I grew up on house music - and producing tunes is one of my favorite things in the world. I can be found on all streaming platforms under the title: REMY QUINN.

reviews

Michael M. Landman-Karny of Stage and Cinema

  • “Notable performances within the large cast include... the commanding Remy Laifer as handsome student-revolutionary Perchik who romances Hodel.”

    Michael Quintos of Broadway World

  • “Act Two sees Remy Laifer as Perchik, a rebellious tutor who is Hodel's beau, in fine acting form and with an apt fieriness, even truculence.”
